Well you have now become a part of the club that no one wants to be a member of. Hearing the diagnosis that you have cancer is surreal at best. For me, I was numb, except for the touch of your hand comforting me. Why I chose to hear the news while we were on a party bus is a question I often ask myself, but the touch of friendship that you gave me that day is one that I will always remember. My day was December 7, 2012. The journey thru breast cancer is a tough one. Just remember it is your journey and you are entitled to each and every emotion you want to have. You will have the help of family and friends along the way and you will find an inner strength that you never knew existed that will get you through the days when meds and positive thoughts just aren’t enough. For me, the journey included many life lessons. i So if you get pink lemons, make pink lemonade! You are a remarkable woman and you, my friend, are stronger than cancer! Love you!

I find it amazing when people facing such tough battles, are still capable of being an inspiration to others. Your poetry, the actual meaning of each line, and the beautiful way you reach out to mankind, is inspiring. You inspire me. I’ll be back soon. I want to offer words of inspiration to you.
